Balls made of dried flowers?

When the ex-husband of my father's mother died on the scene his (my grandfather girls) took some flowers from her funeral accounts and made dried flower petals. Her daughter and each of the 2 granddaughters bracelets are made from them. They are beautiful. Then this summer my daughter and her aunt went hunting for clover four leaves (my daughter and her aunt are 12 Your mother is the death) and found a bouquet of dried flowers and bracelets for them grandfather again. I asked how to do, but not I know if my question is does anyone know how? My thought was that the petals were ground in a food processor, perhaps, then worked in polymer clay and baked to harden. Has anyone done this before? Please let me know Thanks! I think it's a special way to retain memories and love to do myself.
