Is it possible to replace the embroidery thread to sew child?

I have to sew buttons on a jacket, but I think the regular sewing thread is looking cheap and does not seem to hold it well. And yes, I have been sewing for years but have never tried. This 100% cotton - so what? Wooleyboo - I do not want buttons sewn down after - I do not expect someone or care, if someone does not like what I do.

Yes, you can use embroidery floss instead of thread. is more durable anyway be sure to use only 3 lines of 6 chapters at once, instead of a

Sew your own reusable shopping bag or tote

It is very easy to make your own reusable shopping bag or purse. You need is a solid fabric (Such as calico high resistance) and a band of cotton or braid for handles.

Fabrics Notions and appropriate

As mentioned above, you must choose a sturdy fabric such as cotton or calico resistant. To make a bag you'll need half a yard of fabric (assuming that the width of the fabric is 43 inches or more). metric for sewer, you must meter and a half of fabric if the fabric is at least 106 cm wide.

You can also worth investing in a quality wire, because they can carry items heavy in his bag, and you can not afford to have your bag break caused son quality at low prices!

For handles, straps or cotton woven recommend about 1 cm wide (2.5 cm). Is 48 "the band (or 122 cm).

To make your profile

There are only 5 pieces to be cut. 2 rectangles are the bag front and back, is a long piece that connects the front and back (to the depth of the pocket), then 2 pieces wrists.

Place your fabric face down, then extract the rectangles as follows:

sides of the bag (you'll need 2 of these) 13 ½ "wide by 14 ½" high (leading to a seam allowance "½). In the metric system, 34cm by 36cm is 2 rectangles (with a seam allowance of 1 cm).

If need long rectangle 42 ½ x 5 ½ "(106 cm by 12 cm o).

Place them as shown in this diagram href = "http://www.sewing4dummies.com/images/bag-layout.gif" www.sewing4dummies.com/images/bag-layout.gif> then cut.

Take your ribbon and cut 2 handles each 24 "long (or 61 cm).

Makeup

Basically, the long piece of fabric to be sewn on three sides of each rectangle (as shown in this diagram www.sewing4dummies.com/images/bag-sew.gif .) Place a rectangle on the side of the long room (Right side) and start sewing. Sew slowly turning the corners of the rectangle. I recommend that you sew each seam twice for extra strength, particularly corners.

Now, put your bag handles and stitch a rectangle, then sew a cross in the middle (see diagram www.sewing4dummies.com/images/bag-handles.gif ). Once again, it would be prudent to double point of such unions.

No matter if you attach the handles on the inside or outside, is for you. And that's all. Very simple.
