how many differewnt animals are there in Animal Crossing Wild World,i mean the ones that live in homes????????

There are 200 different villagers in Animal Crossing Wild World. Up to eight can live in your town at one time and they will place their houses where signposts are located (so never plant trees or flowers there!!).
