how can i fill a gap in a bracelet/necklace without re-beading it?

i made this necklace out of pearl beads and i attached the clasps with crimp beads, but at the end i noticed that i did not use enough beads because now there is a gap and some of the string shows.
to fix the problem i could add more beads to fill the gap but i don't want to start all over.
how can i fix it without having to start all over again, maybe there are some special beads that I can add without having to thread them through the string?
well i would just cut the necklace and pull the beads taut and re-attach the clasp with the crimp bead but the problem is there isn't enough string to use to re-attach

It's not that you didn't use enough beads, though it may look like it. It's that either your string stretched (some do) or you had a problem attaching the crimp.

To fix it, you'll need to use a new crimp, but only one. Slide the beads down snugly next to one crimp. Take the clasp off the other end. Clip the string right next to the crimp that held the clasp you just removed. Put a new crimp on and re-attach the clasp. This time, be sure to pull the string taut (not tight, but definitely taut) as you attach the crimp.
