Question about Cellular Respiration Experiment?

In an experiment in Cell Respiration with the use of KOH pellets, germinating peas or seeds, glass beads, dye/or colored water to measure the respiratory rate of germinating peas/seeds in terms of oxygen intake like this found here:

http://docs.google.com/gview?a=v&q=cache:0VLwztR5gJ0J:www.rowan.edu/biology/Labs/respiration.pdf+experiment+respirometer+compensation+chamber+cell+respiration&hl=en&sig=AFQjCNGj1bfVk57qiRBHDQ_RwvRP4rWHdA

I'd like to ask about the results:
In which flask will the dye move toward faster? In the one with the beads or the one with the seeds? Also, does the water represent oxygen? If not, what does it represent?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE HELP!
<3 <3 God bless you.

As the germinating peas use O2 and produce CO2 (since the CO2 is absorbed by the KOH) the volume in the flask with the peas will decrease and so the dye will move up the tube quicker with this flask.

Faceted Beads – for Necklaces and More

A beautiful necklace made up of green and purple glass faceted beads, strategically placed in the window of a local jewellery shop is the source of inspiration for this article. Faceted beads are quite frequently used in jewellery, especially in making necklaces and lavaliere. They are often used as the centre pieces and also used to make a pattern or a design in the necklace. The best thing about faceted beads is that since they are faceted, they reflect light thereby adding shine and colour to a piece of jewellery.

Faceted beads are beads that have sharp cut edges. They are not completely spherical and have many evenly distributed edges all around the bead that are of equal sizes. The facets in the glass beads are cut with a diamond edged blade in order to make the facets perfect and the edges sharp. Some of the beads are then coloured with special Aurora Borealis coating that gives it a colourful and shiny glaze. This also makes the faceted beads look multi-dimensional.

Some of the faceted glass beads are coated with a mirror finish on the back. This provides the beads a mirror-like characteristic which provides it an extremely reflective surface on the other side. This makes the beads quite attractive and attention catching as they would dazzle when they come in contact with light.

Faceted beads are available in different colours, sizes and finishes. They are easily available online through some of the websites that provide jewellery making materials. You would get all kinds of faceted beads and also other important materials for making your jewellery and giving shape to your ideas. Some of the good websites also provide ex beading accessories, so that you can make your jewellery in a professional manner and with a touch of class.
