Ever since summer began I have been having terrible runs. My resting heart rate has gone up. Any ideas why?

I am a 15 year old male, 5'5 and 108 pounds. I eat very healthy, no sodas or junk food ever. I considered myself to be in great shape and during the spring I had training sessions where I would go out and run 5-8 miles no problem at a 7:30 pace. Now when I try to run in the summer, I feel horrible, my heart rate is very high (even when jogging) and I cannot seem to fix this problem. Please help me, cross country season is approaching and I can't go into the season running like this.

i know the reason. before you were running with a group and now you are running by yourself. you have no0 motivation. try getting some people to run with you or listen to music. as for your heart rate i would try to think about it less. looks like you are obsessing over it. stress causes a increased heart rate. so if you are checking it when you are stressed then that is why. when you are calm is when you don't have a big heart rate. also maybe you weren't obsessing over it before and now you are that is why you have it. you said "my heart rate is very high (even when jogging)" well you heart rate increases when you are exercising, and that is not a big surprise. it should also be high after exercise.
conclusion: nothing to worry about, calm down, spend your time on thinking about stuff other then your heart rate and accept you cannot control it.
