What type of ink is the best when working with clear stamps?

I'm using pigment ink, but my images always come out fuzzy. Help!

Your finished image quality will depend on the quality of your stamp as well as the type of ink used. Some stamps (shallow cut ones with thicker image lines, or ones made from super soft materials) seem to yield fuzzy images, while others are finer cut, made form good rubber and you can get much clearer images with them.

Staz-on ink is a permananet ink that gives a crisper image, and you can then colour over your stamped image and it won't run..

I also suggest you buy Stazon cleaner as well when you buy the ink as the ink will stain your stamps otherwise.

It could also be the stamping technique that is affecting your images. Gently tap the stamp on the ink pad (make sure you only ink up the actual image, and don't get ink smooshed up inside the lines) then place the stamp straight down on the paper, and lift it up vertically. If you twist or lift the stamp up to one side, it will smudge your image.

For larger stamps, sometimes the image is a litte warped so you need to apply pressure to all parts of the stamp to get a clear image. Place your large stamp face up on the table. Tap your ink onto the stamp, making sure all the image is inked up, then lay paper directly over the stamp and gently smooth it before lifting it straight off.

I hope that helps!
