Aliso Creek Inn is located in Aliso Canyon on 80 acres, We assume someone is measured and 365 meters from the beach. And just down the road from the station assembly.

Announce the resort restaurant plays up its views on the golf course and red rocks and found that really refreshing. We also invite you to discover the perfect combination of nature, good wine, good food and elegant comfort. It was found that well and you want to add. Swimming pool, a spa and ample parking, a rarity for most any place in Laguna Beach. Say they feel proud to have the largest complex of Laguna Beach and that his claims, but impeccable service will make you want to visit time and time again! And I would not do justice without mentioning the nine holes of golf and a golf shop. But tonight, we were there, the restaurant and lounge.

In a beautiful green valley serine Gulf over Laguna Beach and only a majestic view mountain fresh water from Aliso Creek that crosses the length of the beautiful property, and empties into the Pacific Ocean in one of the cleanest beaches in America ("Aliso Creek Beach). My wife and our friend Sam and I a few years ago while walking the natural watercourse, Refurbished, incorporated a cliff, before the recent fall of heavy rains a prehistoric man, woman, boy and a dog from eight thousand years. At that time they say that the salmon River and the area was a place to live for the first villages in the region. They had a lot of food from the sea and fish Crawdad abundant in the creek. Steelhead And to this day, other fish and crabs have been reported bright red. We did it once before the pier was demolished, could bait and had great lobster Lobster more than anyone should have to this time. Even when the spring is gone fishing remains a great beach.

Back at the Aliso Creek Inn why you are here and is one of our most beloved places which, incidentally, was recently acquired by the world class complex of the Assembly Local.

Elli Our server was really friendly and their food and all the details and was able to respond to mine and my wife many Peggy's issues. If and when looked at and I need something, she was there, it seemed that the world Q., hosts to the table and cleaning heat coming and friendship.

Limited to nine appetizers and salads, entrees and seven proved to be a seven-course dinner for us. The full menu was surprisingly cheap. All meals served us was by far one of the best food they have long had. And given restaurants Peggy and I review a life that is saying something. The impact of openness has been called a new presentation of pleasure: a crab salad (large pieces) with mashed avocado with a heavenly Thai dressing plant.

The years in New York that we have reduced roasted steak melts in your mouth. Competed with some of the best we have had nets. It came with rosti potatoes, trumpet mushrooms king and red wine jus. Just delicious.

Next was a showcase home from mozzarella McEvoy Ranch with olive oil and radish salad really delicious.

Finally dessert serious fried bread pudding square size of a stream and salt vanilla ½ inch thick, with delicious (in your kitchen) ice and drinking this world caramel knew from the first bite and continued throughout the plate. The coffee flavor was deep and rich and artistically with the dessert fondue.

Oh, and he gave the grapes of choice in the short wine list of about 50 or that emphasize the value. Although most of the options will range from $ 20 to $ 65, you may splurge on a Dom Perignon, France, 1998 (199 USD). But Beringer "Founders Estates" Pinot Black, California ($ 28) would be good for us. A deer or Syrah's Little Leap, Napa Valley ($ 55). Clos Du Bois, North Coast ($ 31) is typical of whites. If you like your Martini Canyon in size. They have a great selection and respectable choice of local beers and premium.
